The Greater Vancouver Guitar Show will be held on Sunday, Nov 9, 2008 at the Croatian Cultural Centre at 3250 Commercial Dr. in Vancouver.

The VGS is one of the most unique and participated guitar shows in North America. The show includes buying, selling, trading, and showing of all sorts of stringed instruments and related accessories. From old beaters to luthier custom made one of a kind and antique instruments to custom made amplifiers and memorobillia, the VGS is the place to find something rare, different or uniquely personalized.

The VGS is also home of the legendary "Shred Off" contest (fall show only) and hosts a day of entertainment including high profile performances by some of the areas best local players and teachers.

The 2008 Shred will will award $5000.00 in prizes for studio time at Deep Cove Music Studios. (North Vancouver)
